Animal Info contains profiles and photographs of the rarest mammals of the world. For each species, there is data on their biology and ecology, International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) categories, countries where the species is currently found, population estimates, history of distribution, and threats or reasons for decline. In addition to a listing of species with 1000 or fewer individuals, there are alphabetical listings of species and species groups. Links are available to animal sites, organizations, and publications, as well as to state mammal programs in the United States.
