What a great idea to extend a math lesson plan to the NASA program. I love how you have the students finding the largest cross-section of the module. It is also a great lesson for students to understand area and surface area. Thank you for posting this lesson and I look forward to using it in my classes in the future. I also appreciate the worksheets that you added to the lesson plan.
