Description:

This website promotes hands-on activities from across a range of interests, at varying degrees of complexity, using common paper plates. The site includes over 88 paper plate activities, where scientists put their research into layperson terms and develop paper plate activities that illustrate their respective pursuits. Paper Plate Education is an initiative to reduce complex notions to simple paper plate explanations. The lessons address space science, music theory, archeology, celestial navigation, African-American history, geometry, and art.
