Scripps Institution of Oceanography researchers collected air samples from Samoa, using flasks, and the resulting data on CO2 concentrations are available at this page. The period of record is 1981-1999, and data are available in graphic or digital formats. The authors found, on the basis of the flask samples, that the annual average concentration of CO2 rose from 340.43 ppmv in 1982 to 367.02 ppmv in 1999. This represents an annual growth rate of ~1.5 ppmv per year at American Samoa.
