I don't know what means "received 3* rating", but for me, would there be a minus rating, I would actually use that on this one ... is this considered good teaching to the benefit of children ? To train bladder control is one thing, to pillory someone because he/she fails doing so is a whole other story ... even when this is meant as a reflection, concentrating on carving out the errors and failures did never do a better job than emphasising the achievements ... I am with Nadja, this is scary and dare you teacher doing this to my child.
This is BEYOND scary. I would go down on my knees every night and pray that my child never be subjected to words such as those. Apologising for 'having a bladder like a toddler's'?! Wow. This might rate high on teacher's dictatorship, but it ain't scoring no points for building self-esteem, self-respect, self-efficacy or any form whatsoever of independent thinking!!! Special rating, for sure - special sort of scary!
