Description:

Fossil beaches, like this one in Gabon, Africa, are found all over the world. Fossil beaches are the remains of ancient seabeds that have been preserved due to a change in sea level or a shift in elevation. Some scientists say that the fossils in Gabon may be the oldest multicellular organisms ever found more than 2 billion years old!
