Description:

This database provides information about many common animals found in southeast Michigan. Students can search by category (birds, mammals, amphibians, etc.) and access photos, specimens, sounds, and taxonomic classifications for each group. Each category page features links to animals belonging to that group. The taxonomic classifications are interactive and feature links to descriptions of each class, order, family genus, and species.
