Description:

This web page is an interactive physics animation relating to simple harmonic oscillation. Two spring oscillators are displayed with a choice of three views: different amplitudes, different frequencies, or different phases. The user can observe changes in the graphs as a function of each. Included is an analysis of the SHM general equation based upon the graphs displayed. This item is part of a collection of similar simulation-based activities for students of introductory physics.
