Reviewer Comments:

This is a valuable resource that has students find connections between current events and what they are studying in history. It was created as a spring break assignment but could easily be adapted into day to day activities to reinforce the relevance of what is being studied. The assignment asks students to identify the source, summarize, create an illustration, and find a connection to history. Depending on the grade level and the topic, it might be appropriate to re-format the chart to provide more space for certain headings.
