Description:

The Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Bridge Program is a four-week summer program designed to further engage at-risk 8th grade students into the school community prior to entering high school. The Bridge program meets four days a week and is sub-divided into three hour-long instructional blocks (Genius Hour, Humanities* and Math/Science) and once-weekly special programming designed to increase students’ self-efficacy through service learning, mindfulness, social interaction and team-building.
