In this activity about electricity, learners imagine that they are out in the wilderness and it is getting dark. Their task is to use the materials supplied to build a simple flashlight. To build the circuit, learners consider the flashlight's power supply, light source, and the path for electricity (electrons) to follow. Learners sketch their design after successfully building a flashlight.
