Reviewer Comments:

The resource is an external link to a valuable website sponsored by the Nature Conservancy that guides individuals through the process of calculating their carbon footprint. Students respond to a series of questions either as individuals or as part of their household. The survey covers a variety of topics: food and diet, home energy use, driving and flying, and waste and recycling. The calculator helps add a personal understanding to one’s impact on climate change that could be used either in science classes or in a current issues course focused on environmental issues.
