Description:

In this lesson, students review the activities of fifteen biologists, physical oceanographers, engineers, computer programmers, and modelers who work collaboratively in the Coastal Ocean Observatory Laboratory (COOLroom) to improve our understanding of the coastal ocean. Students will choose two teams to work on two different projects from among the scientists. They must defend their choice based on the skills of the worker and the nature of the project.
