Reviewer Comments:

This resource is an 18 page PowerPoint Presentation of the main themes in Catcher in the Rye. The issues of phonies, authority figures, social conventions and romanticizing nature and longing for innocence are all highlighted in this PPT. It would be useful before or after a reading of the text, as it can be used to front load information or to help summarize. It will be excellent for prompting discussion, raising questions and engaging in dialogue at any time during the study of this coming of age novel.
