The three states of matter, liquid, gas, and solid, are explained.Also explained is that the motion of molecules and their attractions for one another determines whether a substance is a solid, liquid, or gas. The importance of heat and molecular motion is emphasized and shown with images. The different stages that ice goes through are shown with descriptive videos. Another focus here is Evaporation and Condensation and heat vs. temperature.
