Reviewer Comments:

A valuable collection of lesson plans and mini-units on civics and media literacy. All of the lesson plans include clear objectives and detailed procedures that teachers can easily follow and implement in their classrooms. All the lessons require Internet access and encourage the development of media literacy. Topics of the lessons are all focused on civics and highlights include lessons on the legislative process, an analysis of the 2nd amendment, and the roles of the President. It should be noted that all of the lessons were created for an online social studies education course, and have not necessarily been classroom tested.
