This IRIS Center professional development and preservice training/preparation module entitled "Effective School Practices: Promoting Collaboration and Monitoring Students' Academic Achievement" focuses on and emphasizes the importance of fostering and forming collaborative partnerships between and among regular and special education teachers, staff, parents, and students; and the collective responsibility and a mutual goal of high expectations for academic achievement for every student.
