H.O.P. stands for Hands-On, Open-Ended, and Practice which are the themes for each of the three centers in the framework. Lesson structure is designed using brain research principles. Reviewer Comments:

This basic math lesson gives students practice comparing numbers. It includes a specific lesson plan telling the layout of the lesson, some practice worksheets, and a hands-on activity where students can hold up cards to show how numbers compare to each other. There is also a presentation saved as a “Notebook” which the CRS Reviewer can not open to review. If this was saved as a PDF or Powerpoint project, it would be more accessible to anyone using it.
