This professional development video clip shows students in a bilingual classroom engaged in the Common Core Practice Standard #3-Construct viable arguments for conclusions reached and critique the reasoning of others. Students observe ladybugs and collect data in order to answer quantitative questions-What is the the number of antennae, heads, mouths, feet, and wings. The individual data is compiled into a class chart and the learners compare and discuss data as a class.
