At this site students will learn all about space. Included in this site is Living in Space, an online game where students design their own space station and solve the following questions, How will you breathe? What will you eat? How will you produce power? During the game, they will be exposed to the NASA and Russian Space Agency life support systems and learn how the Earth's environment gives us what we need for survival. Also included is a worksheet that can be used for assessment once the students have completely played the game. Information is provided about Skylab, Mercury and Gemini Spacecrafts, solar energy, and an International Space Station. PIn Field Guide to the Universe, students can learn about our solar system including the sun and the nine planets, robot spacecrafts, and past and present astronomers. They can find out about the Expedition to the North Magnetic Pole and do experiments that help them understand what the explorers encountered. Space Watch and Other Webcasts provides information on upcoming live webcasts of your favorite astronauts, NASA Folks, and anything having to do with space. A bibliography of books and additional links are included.
