Introduction: Getting Started with OER, is the first of six units for the professional development course, <a href="http://www.curriki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Coll_Group_OERi%2DOpenEducationalResourcesintegration/HearstGrantContent?bc=">Integrating Open Educational Resources in the Classroom - a Course for Teachers</a>.<p/> This unit is an Introduction to the Open Educational Resources movement. These first three sessions cover the "elemental basics" and "concepts" of the Open Educational Resources movement. You'll learn about Web 2.0, collaborative software like wikis, and the philosophy behind the OER movement.

Dave,
The daunting task of transcribing was likely a dreadful one. I know what you did this summer! I appreciate that you transcribed the audio content. One suggestion is to add an icon or symbol when you are explaining the various symbols- cc etc.
