This 10-lesson course (9 classes and a final project) was developed to introduce basic computer concepts to children in the rural Dominican Republic. The curriculum assumes the children have had very little, if any, prior experience with computers. If there are not enough computers available to accomodate all the children in the class, the children should take turns using the computer. Those not on computers can play a memory game with cards, to learn the parts of the computer / and or basic computer terminology in English.
