A valuable link to the ACLU website on the death penalty. The site includes background information, statistics, and highlights relevant court cases. There are also links to related issues. While no lesson plans are included, the site could be used as part of a webquest or a worksheet could be created to help students pull out the key information. It is recommended that other resources are also used as the ACLU represents a particular viewpoint on the issue of the death penalty.

The website was very informative and provided a wealth of raw data to use for argument reinforcement. The only drawback was that it was very biased in its approach to the topic. Fortunately, it did not try to hide its bias; coming from the ACLU everyone could derive its agenda.
