In this experiment, students construct an equilateral triangle using graph paper, pencil, protractor and a ruler. They also make a "laser triangle" using a laser pointer and front-silvered mirrors.

This is a high school physics experiment that includes considerable math content. Students build equilateral triangles and use lasers to try to determine experimentally how the law of reflection works. It’s high intensity learning and should provide a gripping lesson.
