Description:

With three levels to choose from on each page - beginner, intermediate or advanced - this site provides useful information on polar cycles, polar life, and polar changes. The magnetic poles in the south and north poles are explained, the difference between polar oceans and other oceans is discussed, and a breif history of past and current human exploration at the poles is also given. There are games and activities for your students to enjoy while they learn about the poles, including animations showing the change in the level of ice in the poles.
