The course has seven chapters: Basic algebra principles; Linear equations and set theory; Inequalities & absolute values; Graphs of linear equations; Exponents, monomials, and polynomials; Factoring polynomials and solving quadratic equations; and Rational and radical expressions and equations. Each is broken into two or three lessons containing objectives, readings, multimedia components, and sample problems. The Topic View section of the site provides the concepts taught in the course in either alphabetical or sequential order for educators looking for more specific and targeted supporting materials for an introductory algebra classroom.
