In this Earth science animation, middle and high school students observe the changes in snow cover on Mount Rainier over the course of one year. Accompanying text explains what a snow line is and instructs students to locate the snow line by examining the animation frame by frame. The animation is equipped with control buttons that allow students to play, pause, scroll, and step through the video. Students can click a button labeled 'Where on Earth?' to open a U.S. map showing the location of Mount Rainier in Washington. Copyright 2005 Eisenhower National Clearinghouse
