The Information Technology Services Department at the University of Texas at Austin have created this online Excel overview which is a basic but valuable site designed to cover “entering and editing data, formatting, formulas, page setup, and printing spreadsheets.” Visitors will find step-by-step instructions on how to create new Excel files, instructions on how to utilize automatic formulas that provide mathematic analysis of the data, as well as instructions on how to alter existing files without losing the existing structure. This site would be useful for anyone studying or practicing medical administration, business administration, accounting, or any profession requiring record-keeping as well as for the layperson wishing to learn the basics of Microsoft Excel.
