Reviewer Comments:

This is a complete unit designed to teach students about writing and comparing whole numbers and decimals. Each lesson is well-organized with a lesson framework that includes a plan with time allotments for each part. There is a presentation for each lesson, as well as tiered practice questions, a hands-on activity or game, and a related word problem. This unit does not include an answer key. In addition, the users may need to download http://www2.smarttech.com/st/en-US/Support/Downloads/Notebook+IV/ so that they can open the “Notebook” presentations. The CRS Reviewer recommends changing this "Notebook" format to Power Point or PDF files since more Curriki users have access to those programs. There is a game, similar to Jeopardy, at the end of the unit that can be used as an informal assessment or as a unit review. This unit is most appropriate for 3-5 grade students.
