This teacher resource, part of a series on the future of energy, contains a webquest activity for students. Webquests are inquiry-oriented activities that use the Internet. To complete this activity students examine the Explore More! energy site and answer the six essay questions found on the activity sheet. The webquest investigates the types of energy profiled on the site, how turbines operate, the energy infrastructure of the United States, and emissions resulting from transportation vehicles, among others. A downloadable activity sheet is available as a pdf file. Copyright 2005 Eisenhower National Clearinghouse
