Description:

Students are introduced to three legends explaining earthquakes, and then conduct research using the Internet, books, or other resources to learn about other legends from around the world. Students are instructed to create a skit, poster, written or oral report, or some other way to introduce the legend to the class. The resource is part of the teacher's guide accompanying the video, NASA Sci Files: The Case of the Shaky Quake. Lesson objectives supported by the video, additional resources, teaching tips and an answer sheet are included in the teacher's guide.
