Description:

This session is taught directly from the class blog. Teachers are introduced to CK-12.org's Mission and Flexbook database and we then use this frame of reference to springboard to Curriki and its Mission and database.

Required readings for this session can be found on the syllabus here: http://docs.google.com/View?id=dgpppkm4_621d77n7ckd and you'll find the lesson itself on the blog link.

Also, this session teachers are required to create an outline for the contribution to the Curriki database. I've narrowed the class participants' options and had them focus on writing a digital textbook chapter which will be licensed under Creative Commons and later in the semester will have them upload it to the Curriki database.
