Description:

Fotobabble lets users create "talking photos" that are completely web-based. Users upload a photo or image, click "record" to record their voices through the computer's microphone and then click to save and share their new, audio-captioned photos. It's a great resource for language teachers and ELL teachers. It's also useful for teachers and students to use in presentations or on blogs to make the content more engaging. Fotobabbles can be embedded in blog post or on websites.

This web-based resource is to “Fotobabble,” an external link that lets users create web-based “talking photos.” Directions are clear and easy to follow. An image is uploaded, a voice over is recorded and the audio-captioned photo is ready to share. The resource would be highly useful to teachers of language arts, English Language Learners and students and teachers in presentations and/or blogs or on the web.
