Reviewer Comments:

This fact sheet is full of current data and information that would be valuable to any teacher who is covering the death penalty. The handout includes charts and graphs of statistics, key information about the cost of the death penalty, lists of states, and much much more. Although there is not a lesson plan included, the fact sheet could be used in a variety of ways to support student learning. For example, a worksheet could be created that asks questions about the information provided and it could be provided to students to be used as supporting evidence in a debate on the death penalty.
