Description:

Before a student begins the design of a game within this unit, it is recommended that the student have some background knowledge in a specific area of the Ohio Academic Content Standards. This can be accomplished in one of three ways: 1) The student comes to the unit with preexisting background knowledge. 2) The student has just completed a unit in the regular classroom. 3) The student completes a teacher-selected self-paced module.
