Presented by HippoCampus, a project of the Monterey Institute for Technology and Education, this site is the first semester of a two-semester course designed to "acquaint you with topics in mechanics and classical electricity and magnetism." This second half is devoted to electricity and magnetism while the first covered Newtonian mechanics. Clicking on the Course View reveals that this unit has a syllabus and five chapters: electrostatics; conductors, capacitors, and dielectrics; electric circuit; magnetostatics; and electromagnetism. Each chapter has readings, objectives, multimedia lessons, laboratory assignments, and discussion questions. This course has a wealth of information for any student looking to refine his or her understanding of electricity or magnetism and for any educator looking to bolster an introductory physics classroom with supplementary materials and activities.
