The IEP Data Collection Curriculum Area Project has been developed to be used by middle school level special education teachers. The New York State learning standards and Common Core Curriculum have been incorporated in the documents made. Content area curriculum, behavioral, organizational and emotional goals have been addressed to evaluate each individual student’s progress that coordinates with each IEP. As per professional responsibilities and student individualized IEP goals, each teacher must provide accurate records and data. This data collection will monitor students learning and progress. Statistical evaluation will provide educators with information for future CSE’s and IEP changes.
