Curriculum has been developed focusing on lessons and project assignments for a High School Introduction to Education course. The course and therefore CAP has been designed for high school seniors interested in pursuing a degree and possible career in the field of education. Teachers have created lesson plans and activities for this course based on the changes implemented through the APPR system in which teachers in the district are currently evaluated. Focus will be training future teachers on current evaluations methods specifically indicated in the Danielson rubric. We will create lesson plans for varying components in three domains to use as lesson plans and demonstrate effective teaching to students in the course.
