In this Real World Learning Object, students learn how to use x-y scatter graphs to find correlations in data sets. The learning object includes a lesson plan, an assignment handout, and supporting materials for students. Teachers can use this learning object to instruct students on how to create a simple x-y scatter graphs by hand. The assignment employs raw data “abstracted from CIESE’s International Boiling Point Project.” This is a great resource for teachers of statistics or introductory science courses.
