The scoop adds insight and analysis into the themes with which each novel deals. External links are provided to StorySnoops which give more detail about each book, i.e. lexile, vocabulary, student reviews. Titles are: Monster, by Walter Dean Meyers, The absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, by Sherman Alexie, The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, by MT Anderson, Looking for Alaska, by John Green and Delirium by Lauren Oliver. These books were well chosen to relate to high school readers.
