Description:

The purpose of this lab is to develop skills in testing for macromolecules. During this lab high school students will learn about the importance of balanced nutrition and foods found in other ethnic regions, and gain valuable experience in using inquiry. Upon completion of this activity, the student will be able to understand and describe that the work of the cell. This teaching resource was developed by a K-12 science teacher in the American Physiological Society’s 2006 Frontiers in Physiology Program.
