This article explores the possibilities of using hydrogen as a renewable energy source, pointing out that hydrogen fuel and hydrogen fuel cells are two options for generating power from hydrogen. The article gives an overview of the three methods used to isolate hydrogen for energy-production purposes: steam reforming, electrolysis, and burning. Information is also offered about the uses, limitations, and benefits of hydrogen as an energy source.
