Reviewer Comments:

This resource is an interesting lesson plan that guides students through researching and creating an advertising campaign for an historical innovation. The directions are clear and well organized and the assignment is creative and engaging. This assignment could be used in a variety of subject areas including during a unit on the Industrial Revolution or in a marketing class. It would be helpful to create an example of the final product in order to provide students with a model of what is expected of them.

This resource is a creative lesson plan designed to help students understand the technological innovations in history, learn the art of persuasion and improve their writing, speaking, artistic and technology skills. The scenario informs the student that he or she works for an advertising agency and is asked to compete for a job by submitting a campaign for an innovation from the last 100 years. The guide on how to research the product is specific. In the end, students use a digital projector to present their multi leveled campaign.
