Reviewer Comments:

This is a well-developed lesson plan that instructs students about the concept of positive and negative numbers. The lesson includes a lesson plan, a problem solving element, tiered practice problems, and a hands-on activity. There is also an answer key for the practice problems. All activities are provided in Word or Notebook, plus in PDF format. The activities are appropriate for upper elementary school students and can be adjusted to accommodate needs of individual teachers and classrooms. The directions for the first "Hands-On" part of the lesson are not clear. Otherwise, this is a very organized lesson.
