Reviewer Comments:

This huge four unit resource supports New York ELA standards for 7th grade students to read, write, listen and speak for literary response, critical analysis and evaluation and social interaction. Each unit details its big ideas, essential questions, assessment evidence, specific texts, and technology lessons. Support materials (i.e. PPT, Frayer graphic organizers for vocabulary development, Venn diagrams, book review templates, metaphor and simile work, SMART board activities) for the teaching of a variety of novels and short stories are part of this comprehensive unit.
