An Initiative of DIVERSITAS (a European-based international program of biodiversity science), IBOY seeks to promote and integrate biodiversity science, and "to increase communication of science-based information on biodiversity and its links to daily living." Also on the site are biodiversity related resources, including meetings, educational information, biodiversity informatics, and conservation/ research organizations.
