The International Space Station orbits Earth once every 90 minutes. The ISS is the largest man-made satellite to orbit the Earth, and can even be seen with the naked eye. The ISS is operated by five participating agencies: the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA), from the United States; the European Space Agency (ESA), from the European Union; the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos); the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA); and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).
