Reviewer Comments:

This resource is a very good collection of lessons and materials for teaching about the Civil War. There are a variety of activities including mapping, timelines, textbook research, and journal writing. The collection begins with an overview of the entire unit and has individual lesson plans for each activity. It should be noted that many of the handouts and supplementary materials that are linked to the lessons are docx documents that cannot be opened with older versions of Microsoft Word.
