Presented by HippoCampus, a project of the Monterey Institute for Technology and Education, this free online course "develops algebraic fluency by providing students with the skills needed to solve equations and perform important manipulations with numbers, variables, equations, and inequalities. In addition, the course develops proficiency with operations involving monomial and polynomial expressions." Along with providing a syllabus, the Course View section of the site is broken into four units: Basic algebra principles, Inequalities & absolute values, Graphs of linear equations, and Systems of equations & inequalities. Each unit has five lessons and each lesson is complete with objectives, readings, multimedia presentations, assessments, and answer keys. Also, for instructors looking for more targeted teaching tools, the Topic View of the course presents both a sequential and alphabetical list of individual concepts covered in the course, from the addition property of equality to variables, expressions, and equations.
