Reviewer Comments:

This outstanding reading guide offers everything one needs to teach the first half of Invisible Man. It begins with excellent quotes which can serve as the basis for prereading discussions. The guide includes probing questions (literal to evaluative), compare and contrast opportunities, quotes for thought and response, literary definitions, theme exploration, etc. The text is made relevant by inviting the student to make text to self, text to text and text to world connections. Specifically, the book is compared to the movie “Crash,” offering students a way to make it relevant. This thorough guide provides a range of approaches to teach all types of learners. Many of these questions can serve as assessment.

I have been using this curriculum to teach an advanced group of 9th grade readers in an after school program, and it has been a valuable resource. Thanks so much.

Is there any way to find the second half of the curriculum?
